It’s summers and its watermelon time! While most of us love eating watermelons, Watermelon squash recipe made out of it’s juice and Amla can be just as tasty and refreshing. Watermelon is a great source of compounds which lower inflammation and oxidation stress. In short, it’s a great drink to have after a hot tiring day in the sun 🙂
You would have noticed I mentioned Amla / Indian gooseberry earlier. From a health perspective, Amla is an excellent source of Vitamin C, hence it helps boost your immunity, metabolism and prevents viral and bacterial ailments, including cold and cough. It also has anti-cancer properties but that’s not the reason why I add it in the squash. I do it because it gives it an amazing tangy taste to the drink !
I don’t use sugar however you can choose to add if you wish.
